The metal back feels genuinely solid in hand—not like those flimsy plastic cases—and the included screen protector went on with zero bubbles. Muted the buttons a bit at first, but after a week they've loosened up nicely and I'm way less paranoid about pocket drops.
Dropped it face-down on concrete the third day and the screen protector didn't even scratch. The metal frame gives it a real weight that actually feels secure in my hand.
I've had this on for two weeks and the aluminum frame still looks brand new, even after sliding off my motorcycle mount twice. The included screen protector sits flush and hasn't peeled at the corners, which is rare. It's hefty in the hand but that's exactly why I trust it.
