Dropped my phone face-down on concrete yesterday and not even a scratch, those metal corner bumpers really do their job. The lens protector film went on without any bubbles too, which I wasn't expecting.
The metal corners on this case feel seriously solid — I've dropped my phone twice on tile already and not a scratch. The lens protector film went on clean with no bubbles, which I never manage to do. It adds a bit of bulk, but for this level of protection I'll take it.
The metal corners really do take the hits—my phone slid off the counter onto tile and the case barely shows a scratch. The lens protector film is a nice touch, though it did take me a minute to line up without bubbles.
