Dropped it face down on concrete the first week and the screen protector took the hit, not my phone. The metal frame adds real weight, which I actually like, and MagSafe still snaps on perfectly through the case.
The built-in kickstand is surprisingly sturdy and I use it daily for watching videos at my desk. Magsafe still snaps on perfectly even with the metal body, which I was worried about. The screen protector it came with installed without a single bubble.
Dropped it flat on concrete yesterday and the metal frame didn't even dent, just a tiny scuff on the corner. The built-in kickstand is sturdier than I expected too, holds my phone up fine for watching stuff at lunch. Magsafe still snaps on strong through the case.
